Introduction

The relocation and Transformation of Tianjin Soda Plant,the new plant will be located in Harbor Industrial Area.the total investment of the project is RMB8.9billion,including ten major projects as flollowing:3 billion standard cubic meters/year coal gas equipment;two 60 thousand m3/h Air Separation Project;800 thousand tons/year Soda Ash by combined process;500 thousand tons/year Methanol equipment;300thousand tons/year Synthetic Ammnia;200 thousand tons/year Acetic Acid equipment ;225 thousand tons/year n-butanol and 2-ethyl hexanol equipment;40 thousand tons/year Polyformaldehyde equipment;4*410t/h Dry Pulverized Coal Calciner,2*60MW High-pressure heat power project and 12000m3/day Waste Water Treatment project.
The new project took great progress such as introduction techniques,land disposal, negotiation of equipment and joint verture since it started in 18 December 2005,the whole project will be basicly finished in 2008.When the first stage of project is completed,the sale revenue will be RMB8.3 billion,the profit tax will RMB2.32 billion.By the large scale techniques reform,Tianjin Soda Plant will take coal chemical as a leading role,take marine chemcial as a basic role, take petroleum chemcial as a key role, become a modern chemical industrial enterprise. Finally, Tianjin Soda Plant will be developed into the first comprehensive enterprise in china which conbines coal, ,marine and petroleum chemical industrial, still to be the leader of Chinese chemical industrial.
